This is my set up for making the Vacuum Pot Coffee or Siphon. I use a Hario MCA-3 Siphon. A Hario Kettle and Hario weighing scale.
The coffee bean i'm using today is the El Salvador Finca El Carmen from Dutch Colony Coffee Company.

I'm using 15gm coffee at a medium course grind.

Weighing 200 ml of hot water.

Waiting for the hot water to boil.

The top beaker is position at a slant angle while waiting for water to boil.
The water is boiling.
Position the top beaker so that the water from the bottom beaker will go up to the top.
After most of the water has been drawn up, pour the coffee grounds and give it a stir to make sure its evenly distributed. Let it brew for about 1m 15s.
Simultaneously cut the heat source and stir the top beaker. The difference in pressure will cause the coffee to be filtered down to the bottom beaker. This process is called the draw down.
Coffee ready to be served.
Enjoy your cup of coffee.
