Making Café au lait

Café au lait is basically hot coffee with hot or steamed milk. The coffee can be made by chemex, french press or even pour over.

The coffee I brewed was using pour over method. I also steamed the milk with my espresso machine. I made the steamed milk with extra froth for my own preference.

Pour the brewed coffee in the cup.

I would scoop the froth from the top part of the milk pitcher with a spoon and gently let it drop on top of the coffee. Repeat till a nice layer of foam covers the top of the coffee.

Ready to serve.

Enjoy!
